The kyphosis, which is explained as the curve of the spine more than 50 – 55 degrees forward, should be treated with appropriate treatment. Although the progression of the disease can be stopped with corset use at low grades, surgical treatment is absolutely necessary in high degree kyphosis patients.

Scoliosis is the sideways curvature of the spine that can be seen in the chest or waist. Also it can be seen with kyphosis (kyphoscoliosis). In lower grades corset treatment can be applied, but in more severe cases surgical treatment is required by a specialist orthopedic surgeon in the field.
